 June is supposed to be the most popular month for weddings, but apparently July and August are also big wedding months. Lately most of the work I have been doing has been custom engraved horseshoes. I have shipped horseshoe wedding gifts coast to coast from California to New York during the last couple of months.
I enjoy working with folks who are planning for their weddings. Usually they are thrilled to have found my website because they have been looking for a one-of-a-kind gift to commemorate their special day. I have worked against some pretty tight schedules lately, but I have managed to meet every wedding deadline so far. I have also been engraving a few horseshoes to be given as wedding anniversary gifts. Recently the friend of a newly-wed couple emailed me to get information on a custom engraved horseshoe for their first-year anniversary. She chose the Presidio design for two reasons: 1.) She liked the simplicity of the design and 2.) The couple's wedding ceremony had taken place in Presideo California. She and I both felt like there was a little divine intervention involved in her finding my little piece of the internet. This customer was kind enough to take the time to sign my guestbook after she received the horseshoe I engraved for her. I have to admit that I really enjoy the opportunity to be involved (in a small way) in helping to make these weddings and anniversaries just a little more special. |
